The Last Resort is a two-story log house set just two minutes from town. The house was built in 1990 for the sole purpose of housing guests.
This makes it different from some of the historic bed and breakfast options you have when seeking places to stay in Colorado, as the hotel did not originally function as a home, but has always been a lodging option. It comfortably houses around 10 people, which is perfect for those family getaways or group ski trips.
All rooms at The Last Resort are equipped with a TV and VCR. Guests have access to a community library throughout their stay, as well as casual sunrooms where they can lounge within view of the mountain. The breakfast room opens to a panoramic view of the mountain, and the hotel offers a steam room to its guests as well.
Each of the five rooms has a private bathroom, so guests can enjoy their privacy while still traveling as a group. In-floor radiant heat throughout the property keeps you cozy during your stay.
Should you decide to visit in the summer, you can enjoy outdoor seating by the creek as well as a flower garden. For winter guests, the free shuttle to the slopes is just a two-minute walk from the inn. An on call massage therapist team can come to the inn and give you an in-room massage during your stay.
