Denver Restaurant Week: Make Reservations Now

Of the many things we love about Denver, the wide array of dining experiences and cuisine choices scores high on the list. Denver Restaurant Week celebrates all that food and culture found within metro Denver, and this year, close to 300 restaurants will participate in the event, helping us get our delicious food fix.

Denver Restaurant Week is a two-week event, this year Feb. 26 through March 11. Since the Mile High City sits at 5,280 feet above sea level, participating restaurants will offer a special multi-course dinner for two at the city’s signature price of $52.80 (or $26.40 for one).

Restaurants throughout metro Denver and its suburbs are taking part, including those in Cherry Creek, the artsy Golden Triangle, Wash Park, Capitol Hill, Lakewood, Golden and even Boulder. More than 40 restaurants are new to Restaurant Week this year and the menu covers the globe, from American cuisine, to Asian zing, Mediterranean plates and spicy Italian.

The event is put on by Visit Denver, the city’s convention and visitors’ bureau, and sponsors include RTD (Regional Transportation District), 5280 magazine, Colorado Restaurant Association and The Denver Post.

Denver has one of the largest restaurant weeks in the U.S., owing to the expansion of Denver’s culinary scene in recent years. Denver Restaurant Week organizers anticipate this year’s event to be very popular, with many restaurants booking up quickly. Make reservations as early as possible to help ensure you get a bite of the action.
