When you stay at a Four Seasons hotel, you know you’re going to get luxury, quality and personal service. Well, Denver finally has one. The contemporary 45-story Four Seasons Hotel Denver opened Nov. 6, 2010, and is a prominent addition to the Denver skyline.
Across from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on 14th Street, the Four Seasons Hotel Denver has sweeping views of the city and mountains from its lofty heights. With 239 hotel rooms, including 21 suites, the building also incorporates 102 private residences from the 18th to 45th floors.
Guests staying at the hotel are in for some of the best luxury trappings. The suites and guest rooms boast such amenities as five-piece bathrooms with illuminated sinks, rain showerheads and televisions hidden behind mirrors. Large picture windows
to take in stunning, unobscured views along 14th Street also accompany the spacious hallways and room floor plans. One look to the west during a Rocky Mountain sunset will be sure to delight visitors.
A third-floor pool terrace with heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi is open year-round, with a hip and chic bar on the terrace for guests to enjoy. Overlooking the pool, state-of-the-art equipment is available in the gym, which is accessible 24/7. With more than 3,000 square feet of workout space, guests can work up a sweat on the new TechnoGym equipment or head to the yoga/pilates studio to find some inner calm.
Hotel guests can luxuriate in the 9,000-square-foot spa on the third floor. The spa lobby area is covered in rich sierra gold Peruvian travertine flooring, with sandstone strip tiling on the walls. Subtle bamboo finishes throughout the spa complement the gemstone tiles of each of the 10 treatment rooms.
Once inside the spa, guests enjoy relaxation lounges, whirlpools in each of the changing rooms as well as multi-jet showers, steam room and reclining lounge chairs. Fruit-infused water and cucumber-infused towelettes are also available for guests’ use. Non-hotel guests are able to use the third-floor fitness facility with the purchase of a 60-minute spa treatment, as well as the pool terrace and outdoor Jacuzzi.
The spa has a wide array of services and treatments, from enhancing ultrasonic micro-dermabrasion and light therapy to balancing gemstone massages and wildcrafted rosemary-sage body scrubs.
The Four Seasons Hotel Denver boasts over 17,000 square feet of meeting space, with majestic marble pillars, granite flooring and wood accents throughout. The Grand Ballroom is also home to 18 sparkling crystal and Lucite chandeliers from Singapore.
The EDGE Bar and Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with Chef Simon Purvis creating delicacies for the progressive American steakhouse. Steak, wild game and regional fish are served in refreshing new ways at Edge, steps from the bustling city streets.
